As a keen cyclist of 10 years, I’ve experienced enough pain and suffering as much as the next rider, and that’s just from competing in the North West Cyclo-cross league!
My journey started with a simple case of numb toes during every ride. Then after chatting with a rider I worked with at Team Wiggins, I was pointed in the direction of a Bike Fitter he knew, and suddenly I found myself diving headfirst into the world of Bike Fitting!
After the initial gathering of information from this source, I discovered my cycling shoes simply didn’t fit me correctly! I’d been one of the many victims in the cycling world to purchase a pair of shoes based on looks rather than function!
I resolved this issue and continued to gather more information before realising that most people out there riding bikes are wearing the wrong shoes!
This led me to want to help people enjoy riding their bikes more without the pain and suffering that we are told is part and parcel of cycling. So I booked on a professional Bike Fitting course led by Tony of Torke Cycling, and the rest as they say, is history!
